American students arrive in Ireland and find their friend and local guide Jake (Jack Huston). They go camping in woodlands to experiment hallucinogenic mushrooms. Tara (Lindsay Haun), isolated by the group ingest a toxic mushroom, the death cap and has premonitory visions about murders. A long-disused children’s home is down the woods and Jack tells them at night stories about a violent sadistic monk and ghosts.
Un groupe d’étudiants américains arrivent en Irlande et retrouvent leur guide local Jake (Jack Huston). Ils installent leurs tentes dans les bois pour vivre une expérience avec des champignons hallucinogènes. Tara (Lindsay Haun), isolée du groupe ingère un champignon toxique, l’amanite phalloïde et a des visions prémonitoires de meurtres atroces. Un ancien orphelinat pour enfants se trouve à côté du bois et abriterait des fantômes assassins, notamment celui d’un moine sadique.
