In the small town of Ashborough, New Hampshire, the community lives apart, without cable, internet, or telephones. It is what is apparently strengthens the links between the population. The new doctor, Michael Cayle (Sean Patrick Thomas) and his family discover a quiet life in the countryside because they moved from New York. Phil (Dean Stockwell), a long-time inhabitant informs Michael that a sacrifice must be made on the altar in the woods behind the Dr’s home, for a terrifyng race of creature, isolates, who live in the area since hundreds of years.
