A group of Mexicans and their smugglers try to cross the American border but their truck breaks down. They have to continue their road in feet by crossing the desert. They are going to meet a deranged, rifle-toting vigilante chases them with its dog a German shepherd drawn up to kill. This day begins as a hopeful journey for a better life and going to end in fight for survival in front of a man (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who thinks that his country belongs to him.
Un groupe de mexicains et leurs passeurs essaient de traverser la frontière américaine mais leur camion tombe en panne. Ils doivent continuer leur route à pieds en traversant le désert. Ils vont rencontrer un homme qui va les prendre en chasse avec son fusil à lunettes et son berger allemand dressé pour tuer. Cette journée commencé avec plein d’espoir va se terminer dans un combat pour survivre face à un homme (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) qui pense que son pays lui appartient.
