J’ai trouvé cette suite bien plus effrayante et certaines images vers la fin du film m’ont rappelé des films d’enlèvement par des extraterrestres. Alors, sorcières ou Aliens?.

James Donahue (James Allen McCune) trouve une vidéo supposée de sa sœur Heather disparu vingt ans plus tôt dans la forêt près de Burkittville, anciennement Blair où la sorcière a été tuée en 1785. Avec quelques amis, il part tourner un documentaire dans les bois avec l’espoir de retrouver Heather dans la maison, aidé de deux jeunes habitants locaux qui ont trouvé la cassette au pied d’un arbre.
James Donahue (James Allen McCune) finds a videotape supposed to be his sister Heather disappeared 20 years ago in the Black Hill Forest near Burkittville, formerly called Blair where the witch was killed in 1785. With some college students, they want to shoot a documentary in the woods with the hope to find Heather in the lost house, helped by two young local inhabitants who found the videotape at the foot of a tree.
Dès la première nuit, d’étranges bruits violents d’arbres qui tombent autour d’eux, des cris et surtout des figurines fabriquées avec du petit bois et de la ficelle pendent devant et autour des tentes. Au matin, la suspicion s’installe entre eux, le drone s’écrase et le GPS les fait tourner en rond. Bientôt le jour ne se lèvera plus et ils disparaîtront l’un après l’autre.
From the first night, low sounds of trees falling around them, shouts and especially strange stick figures in wood hanging from the trees in front of and around their camp. In the morning, suspicion settles down between them, the drone crashes in a tree and the GPS being inaccurate makes them go round in circles. Soon the day will not get up anymore and they will disappear one by one.
