Décidés à quitter cette ville laissée à l’abandon, leur prochaine maison est celle d’un aveugle vétéran de l’armée (Stephen Lang) qui a reçu 300.000 dollars de dédommagement pour la mort accidentelle de sa fille, renversée par une voiture. Après avoir drogué le chien de garde, ils pénètrent dans la maison qui leur réserve bien des surprises et le vétéran sait se défendre, même en étant aveugle.
