Julia (Matilda Lutz) worries about Holt (Alex Roe) her boyfriend who investigates about an urban legend with his professor, Gabriel (Johnny Galecki). A mysterious videotape would kill the person who watch it seven days later. To save Holt, Julia watch the videotape and discovers there is a new footage in the movie. Gabriel sends them to the city of Sacrament Valley where the body of Samara is buried, to stop the infernal circle.
Julia (Matilda Lutz) s’inquiète pour Holt (Alex Roe) son petit ami qui enquête sur une légende urbaine avec son professeur, Gabriel (Johnny Galecki). Une mystérieuse cassette vidéo tuerait la personne qui la regarde sept jours après. Pour sauver Holt, Julia regarde la cassette et découvre qu’il existe un film dans le film. Gabriel les envoient dans la ville de Sacrament Valley où le corps de Samara est enterré, dans l’espoir d’arrêter le cercle infernal de la cassette qui tue.
