Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) a famous neurosurgeon loses the use of a part of his hands in a car accident. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) her friend and co-worker tries to help him but the arrogant Strange after months of experimental surgeries on his hands learns that a paraplegic mysteriously is now able to walk. His name is Pangborn and he directs Strange to Kathmandu, to Kamar-Taj, to meet The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and Karl Mordo.
Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) un neurochirurgien renommé perd l’usage d’une partie de ses mains dans un accident de voiture. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) son amie et partenaire au bloc essaie de l’aider mais l’arrogant Strange après des mois d’opérations expérimentales apprend qu’un paraplégique a miraculeusement retrouvé l’usage de ses membres. Il s’agit de Pangborn qui le dirige vers Kathmandu, à Kamar-Taj, pour rencontrer une magicienne, l’Ancienne (Tilda Swinton) et Karl Mordo.
She shows Strange her powers, reveals him the Astral Plan and other dimensions as the Mirror Dimension. After difficulties, Strange learns from the ancient books in the library which it’s now protected by the master Wong (Benedict Wong) and Strange discovers that three sanctuaries, one in New York, one in London and the last one in Hong-Kong protect the Earth and the human beings.
